Hello world!
July 11, 2006
This is my first post – hopefully the first of many.
I’m going to be reviewing some travel related books I’ve been reading lately, most recently 50 Great Escapes: A Global Guide to Creativity by Jonathan Lee.
But first, about me. I’m mainly a homebody, originally from the San Francisco area. I like to email, to waste my time blogging (hence this site) and in general create a nuissance on the web. I like reading travel books quite a bit, whether it’s as straight forward as 1,000 Place To See Before You Die by Patricia Schultz or Travels With Charley In Search of America, a classic by John Steinbeck.
I’m no global trotter though (literally or in the basketball sense), and most of my escapes happen through my reading.
So hello, world here I am!
